The Fault in Our Stars ( dt. Das Schicksal ist ein mieser Verräter) von John Green ist das beste Buch, das ich je gelesen habe. Es erzählt eine wunderschöne Geschichte mit einer außegewöhnlichen Ehrlichkeit. Deshalb möchte ich euch unbedingt davon erzählen.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is by far the best book I´ve ever read.It tells a beautiful story with an extraordinary honesty. That´s why I want to tell you about it.

Inhalt :

Es geht um so viel, dass es wirklich unmöglich  schwer ist, den Inhalt von TFIOS zusammenzufassen. Ich werde es mal versuchen :

Hazel ( 16 J.) hat Lungenkrebs und lernt in einer Selbsthilfegruppe für Krebskranke Augustus Waters kennen, der ihr Leben grundlegend verändern wird. 
Zusammen reden sie über alles, spielen Computerspiele, diskutieren über Bücher ( Hazels Lieblingsbuch ,,An Imperial Affliction´´ verbindet sie noch mehr und ist auch für die Geschichte wichtig, da es Hazels größter Traum ist zu erfahren, was mit den Charakteren nach dem Ende des Buches passiert), weinen und lachen.  Dabei verlieben sie sich ineinander. Doch natürlich geht es auch um Krebs, wie Eltern,  Freunde und auch Hazel und Augustus selbst damit umgehen und trotz allem versuchen , ein gutes Leben zu leben.


The book is about so many things that it´s impossible really difficult to sum it up. I´m gonna give it a try.
Hazel ( 16 years old) has lung cancer and meets Augustus Waters, who is going to change her life, in a support group for cancer kids. They talk about everything, play video games, talk about books ( Hazels favorite book ,, An Imperial Affliction´´ connects them even more and is important for the story too, as Hazels biggest dream is to find out, what happens to the characters after the end of the book ) , cry and laugh. They fall in love with each other. But of course it´s also about cancer, how parents,friends and Hazel and August themselves deal with it and how they try to lead a good life despite of it.


Meine Meinung / My opinion


Die Geschichte ist einfach so unglaublich berührend. Ich hatte während des Lesens mehrmals Tränen in den Augen, aber ich musste auch ein paar Mal lachen. Genau diese wunderschöne,bittersüße Mischung aus Trauer, Freude und natürlich Liebe, ist das Besondere an diesem Buch. Hazels und Augustus´ Liebe ist so echt und trotz aller Hindernisse kann ich mir kaum vorstellen dass es eine stärkere oder auch reinere Art von Liebe gibt.
Die Geschichte, die Personen, bleiben einem noch lange im Gedächtnis.
Inzwischen habe ich es 4-mal gelesen und finde es immer noch genauso inspirierend und außergewöhnlich wie beim ersten Mal.

The story is so incredibly moving. While reading, I had tears in my eyes - that happened to me several times during the story but I had to laugh sometimes too. Exactly that beautiful,bittersweet mixture of grief, joy und of course love, is what´s so special about the book. Hazels and Augustus´ love is so real and despite all the problems I can´t imagine a stronger or purer kind of love.
The story, the characters stay in your mind long after you´ve finished reading the book. 
Up to this point, I have read the story 4 times and I still find it as inspiring and special as when I read it for the first time.

´´ I´m like.I´m like a grenade,Mom. I´m a grenade and at somepoint I´m going to blow up and I would like to minimalize the casualties okay? ``

´´ Oh, I wouldn´t mind, Hazel Grace. It would be a privilege to have my heart broken by you.``

´´  As he read,I fell in love the way you fall asleep : slowly, and then all at once.´´
Es gibt so viele wundervolle Stellen in diesem Buch. Lest es selbst und lasst euch von der Magie dieses Buches überzeugen ! <3
