Like cotton candy

Zur Abwechslung wollte ich mal einen eher ,,nude´´-mäßigen Nagellack haben, der zu so gut wie allem passt. Da ich Montag bei dm war, und zum ersten Mal bewusst das p2- Regal wahrgenommen habe, musste ich natürlich zugreifen und diesen und noch einen weiteren Nagellack kaufen ( den stelle ich euch noch in einem anderen Post vor). Gestern habe ich ihn dann getestet.

Monday I discovered the p2-stuff for the first time. So of course I had to buy some new nail polish. One of them I´m going to show you now, the other one will follow.

Der Auftrag hat ziemlich gut geklappt, allerdings ist die Deckkraft erst nach 2 Schichten wirklich überzeugend, was mich ziemlich enttäuscht hat. Das kann natürlich auch daran liegen, dass ich noch den tollen Essie-Nagellack im Hinterkopf habe...

Dafür ist die Farbe wirklich toll, sie erinnert mich irgendwie an rosa Zuckerwatte. Vor allem lässt sie die Haut auch nicht zu blass aussehen, was für mich mit meiner sonnen-resistenten-sich-nie-bräunenden Haut ziemlich wichtig ist. In Sachen Haltbarkeit...ja, das ist ein weiterer negativer Punkt,denn schon heute haben mehrere Finger Tipwear... Lässt sich also mit der Zuckerwatte vergleichen, die auch immer so schnell weg ist ( ja, mein Gerede ergibt manchmal kein Sinn...).

Dennoch ist es eine tolle Farbe für den Sommer und ich werde sie sicherlich auch noch öfter lackieren, vielleicht auch mal mit einem Topcoat, um die Haltbarkeit zu verbessern. Außerdem ist der Preis natürlich klasse! Hier nochmal einige Tragebilder.

The coverage was pretty disappointing, as I had to paint two layers for a satisfying result. My disappointment may be related to the amazingness of the Essie nail polish... 

However the colour is really great, it kind of reminds me of pink cotton candy. It doesn´t make my sunresistent skin look too pale. As for the long-lastingness....well, that´s another negative point. Today I could already spot tipwear on several fingers. That kind of confirms my cotton candy impression ( it´s also always gone so fast, yeah sometimes there´s no logic behind my words). It is a great colour for the summer and I´m sure I´m going to use it several times, maybe with a topcoat, to get an even better result. Additionally the price is obviously really great.
